OVERVIEW

This lecture will describe the Minimally Invasive Microendoscopic technique for performing a Decompressive Laminotomy for Lumbar Stenosis. Only AANS members are eligible for CME.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of this CME activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Differentiate the indications for minimally invasive decompression of stenosis.
  2. Distinguish the surgical steps involved in performing a minimally invasive decompression of stenosis.
  3. Recognize the possible complications of minimally invasive decompression of stenosis.

Term of approval is for three years, until 02.01.09, from beginning distribution date of 02.01.06, with option of renewal upon review of the activity.

After completing the activity, AANS members will be able to take a CME test by logging onto MyAANS.org. Upon successful completion of the test, the CME will automatically be reflected in your record and you can print a certificate.

Time to complete this activity varies by learner; Activity equaled up to 1.0 Category 1 credit of CME.
